Buying tickets for The Monti at The Carolina Theatre (CTD) can be a bit frustrating. The Ticketmaster up-charges are substantial, and that alone can people from wanting to attend these events. We do not want that to happen and have provided a comprehensive breakdown of charges so that you can make the most informed decisions when planning your Monti evening.

Below are three ticket purchasing options that could be helpful as you navigate the CTD box office.

Online (Most Convenient/Most Expensive)

For every ticket purchased online, CTD will add $2 in restoration fees for the theatre upkeep. Ticketmaster will then add their own fees of up to $9 per ticket. NC then adds 7.5% in entertainment tax. Translation: a $22 ticket will end up costing about $34.

Phone (less convenient if you hate phones/less expensive)

By calling the CTD box office between 10am and 6pm (Mon - Fri), you will incur a $2 CTD restoration fee plus a $4 convenience fee and tax. It is less expensive than the online purchase.

In-person (least convenient/least expensive)

The only fees added to the base ticket price are the $2 CTD restoration and a $3.15 convenience fee plus tax. You can visit the box office in person between 10am and 6pm Monday through Friday.

This is your cheapest and most recommended option.
