Trish Fox
Over-sharing, One Uncomfortable Conversation at a Time
Despite a bit of a nomadic childhood, Trish identifies as being from New Jersey (figuring the State that saw her through puberty deserves the honor) and has been a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina since 2004. Originally a mental health counselor, she switched careers in 2008 to become an operating room nurse, enabling her to continue helping people, while essentially wearing pajamas. Trish has always enjoyed writing but it wasn’t until the Pandemic spit her out that she began to explore it as a creative outlet. A David Sedaris wanna-be, it was his Masterclass suggestion on how to get feedback on one’s writing that prompted her to become a regular at Raleigh’s monthly Tongue and Groove Open Mic. She is incredibly grateful for the inspiration, connection, and camaraderie this storytelling has provided.
Speaking of grateful, Trish is married with two, pre-owned beagles.
