Susanna Harris studies how bacteria live together on plants, and she tries to mirror this mixed-up balance in her own life. If you can’t find her on UNC’s campus: check the Morehead Planetarium, where she encourages elementary students to get excited about science. Or, hunt for her around Jordan Lake. Or, try looking in Harris Teeter (the name is just a coincidence) - her favorite store location is across from the University Mall.
Most likely, though, you’ll find her at home in the kitchen. She will be talking to her dogs while cooking whatever she found during the two-hour stroll in Harris Teeter. She will then post a photo of the dogs/food/sunset to her Instagram and go to sleep.
