Stephanie Levin
Poet and Wounded-Healer-in-Training
Stephanie is the author of Smoke of Her Body, winner of the 2011 Jacar Press Poetry Book Prize and was a recipient of a North Carolina Arts Council grant for poetry. She earned an MA in literature from Hollins University and an MFA in poetry from University of Virginia. Currently, she’s on the editorial staff of One, Jacar Press’s online poetry journal and is also pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at NCCU. Her interest is in learning body-oriented approaches to healing. She lives in Chapel Hill with her two daughters.
