Sarah Sanford
Saver of the World
Sarah is a Virginia native and a transplant to the Triangle region. She originally moved to North Carolina for graduate school, and she must like it a lot because she hasn't left yet. Sarah works in the environmental field and loves all things outdoors, including hiking, camping, and other shenanigans in the woods. Her start in the storytelling world came through recounting embarrassing situations to friends. After a friend pointed out that the best way to process an embarrassing event is simply by telling other people about it, Sarah decided "Why not tell an audience of 100 people?" Sarah told her first public story at an event similar to The Monti in Richmond, VA, and has been hooked ever since. When she isn't telling stories, advocating for the environment, or enjoying the great outdoors, Sarah can be found in the kitchen pursuing her second greatest passion, snacks.
