Storytellers

Sally Maslansky is almost a Chapel Hill native…and just in the past few years has returned to the town she so loves. Much of her adult life was lived in Los Angeles where she worked in both the creative development and production ends of tv and film. Working with writers, directors, and producers on shows such as Norman Lear’s “All In The Family” & “Sanford & Son” as well as having a role in the development of movies including the Warner Brother’s “Police Academy” series has given her a real appreciation of the hard work and skill involved in the art of telling a story. Having retired from the entertainment industry to raise her son over 20 years ago, she eventually went back to earn a master’s degree in clinical psychology and now has a private marriage & family therapy practice in Carrboro.
