Melina Smith was raised Chapel Hill, NC. She attended and worked at Duke University, where she studied biomedical engineering, wrangled Rhesus monkeys, and helped start a nonprofit Girls Engineering Change. She recently completed a Master’s at Georgetown University and hopes to attend medical school. Until then, she will be getting a dose of reality by working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. When not baring her soul at The Monti, Melina is most likely on the phone with a friend, lying on the floor of her room, or on the road with her boyfriend. She apologizes to Jeff that her bio may change again in a year.
