Storytellers

Maria is an Orlando native, but she's been living in North Carolina since college. She earned an undergraduate degree from N.C. Central University and a graduate degree from N.C. State University. Since then, she's been telling stories in one form or another - as a journalist, a communications professional, and a fiction writer. She is the mother to three children, which means that she doesn't have time for any interesting hobbies. Though she has been known to occasionally attempt awkward dancing or to jump out of airplanes.
