Storytellers

Lynn Swisher Spears - formerly Roger Spears - is a retired architect and former assistant professor at NC State's College of Design. She now lives in Durham where she dabbles in writing, music, and graphic design. A native of the Midwest, Lynn returns each summer to her family's small farm in southwestern Iowa. She has two terrific children: Tracy, a biomedical statistician at Duke University, and Dillon, a former dancer now living in Indiana. Most Saturday evenings will find her playing bluegrass with friends, drinking very dry martinis, and thoroughly enjoying retirement.
