Lindsey Smith Taillie
Global Nutrition researcher and Food Studies professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
Lindsey Smith Taillie is originally from Fremont, Ohio but has been living in North Carolina for more than a decade. She came to Chapel Hill for graduate school, but stayed for the basketball, bluegrass, and blue skies in January. Lindsey is a global nutrition researcher and a food studies professor at UNC. She loves to tell embarrassing stories at her own expense as a way to get students' attention. She also loves telling stories to her two young daughters, typically involving flying poodles, clouds made of ice cream, and gems with magical powers. It is her personal and professional opinion that the best food on the planet is cake soup, which is exactly what it sounds like.
