Lara Tuson
Teacher
Lara Sedona is a 7th grade science teacher and Durham aficionado. Her professional undertakings include coming up with science songs for her students, making said students sing said songs, answering interesting questions (“So if I had a clone…and I got a wedgie…would my clone get a wedgie?”), and sharing her genuine enthusiasm for science. In addition, she teaches high schoolers to sew sock monkeys, coaches cross country, and helps out with the Science Olympiad team. When she’s not engaged in teacherly pursuits, Lara spends her hours running, biking, basking in sunshine, baking bread and biscuits, fostering dogs, and cultivating her temporary tattoo collection.
