Storytellers

Kat was born and raised in Mississippi, though she’s been told several times, “That’s surprising.” She lived in Memphis for five years, where graduate school ate her soul. She moved to Durham for internship, fell in love with the city and its people, and she has no intention of leaving anytime soon. She is a clinical psychologist, which means she can read minds. She currently works with inmates, which is exciting, challenging, and rewarding, in spite of her loved ones’ attempts to convince her otherwise. Her favorite things in life are seeing live music, spending time with the people she loves, cheese, and surreal moments of self-awareness.
