Storytellers

Jen Isher-Witt (she/her) is a Jersey Shore native who moved to Durham for grad school and has spent the 15 years since cultivating community and her map of local coffee shops. She’s grateful that she gets to tell stories regularly in her public health work by translating and effectively visualizing data. Jen has a PhD in Social Psychology and spends a lot of time thinking, talking, and writing about people. It’s how she makes sense of her own experiences, queer identity, and how she formulates thoughts on the human condition broadly. Jen’s been writing stories since she was 9, but this is her first time performing on an official stage. When not wrangling her two young kiddos, you can find her drinking coffee, working on a jigsaw puzzle, or sending funny TikToks to friends.
