Jeanne loves a good story, great conversations with interesting people of all ages, good books, and every kind of adventure with the kids in her life. Having retired from her career in business and recently from leadership of the non-profit, Students to Scholars, which she co-founded in 2017, she is enjoying having fun and new adventures, including performing at The Monti. She is a mom and an honorary grandmother and says that her latest distinction for her “trophy wall” is of being a beginner piano student longer than anyone in North Carolina, and possibly, in the US. She has been the host of “Movie Night” for the neighborhood children every month for the past nine years. Jeanne and her son moved from Atlanta to Chapel Hill in 2002 but she also loves all things Durham, including The Monti.
