Janet originated the Innovations Desk for Marketplace www.marketplace.org from American Public Media back in 2005. She covered the intersection of science, business and amazing. After a brief stint as a producer and guest host of The Story, Marketplace asked Janet to return as a reporter. Her reports are heard by more than 10 million listeners each week. Janet's career began at a suburban Philadelphia newspaper, The Times Herald. She also worked in commercial radio and television.
