Jackie Cohen
Freelance video producer, writer and editor
Raised in a suburb outside of Philadelphia, Jackie started her career after college in New York and Los Angeles, working as a television writer and producer for comedy, reality and game shows on networks including Comedy Central, NBC, VH1 and the Style Network. For a change of pace, she moved to Baltimore and earned a masters degree from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She now produces videos, writes, and consults for clients in the health care, tech and non-profit sectors. Her more self-deprecating work appears in a collection of essays, Rejected: Tales of the Failed, Dumped and Canceled, published by Villard in 2009. Jackie received her BA from Wesleyan University. Currently, she lives in Durham with her husband Nate and their two young children.
