Storytellers

Deeksha surrounds herself with fantastical worlds, books, plants, poetry, and art, and makes a living by using her electrical engineering degree to design chips for mobile phones. Her hobby for the past five years has been discovering new art forms, including acrylic & oil painting, sketching, pottery, stitching cloth scraps into beauty, and woodworking, among others. She has a PhD and an MS degree from NC State, an experience that has turned her into an advocate for graduate students; she volunteers as part of IEEE Women in Circuits to organize inclusive and diverse events in the tech world. She lives in Apex, North Carolina with her husband; a long distance away from Delhi, India, where she was born and raised. She enjoys being outdoors, biking, walking, hiking, running, and eating, especially in the mountains.
