Storytellers

Deanna Jones lives in the mighty small town of Hillsborough NC where art and literature flourish; however, she has none of those talents so she has chosen to tell stories in her Hillsborough Toastmaster group. Deanna has always believed that the stories we tell help us understand others and ourselves. Deanna has worked at Cisco for 22 years and has discovered that her true passion is teaching others. Since she can’t do that at work, she coaches T-Ball, has taught at the Durham Literacy Center and has also been active in Junior Achievement. Deanna is one of the rare breeds of not only being a native North Carolinian but also plans on staying, yes, I will be buried in this lush Old North State soil. Until then, I will tell my stories and listen to yours.
