David Freifeld comes from a family where almost every member has stood on the Monti stage. After telling many stories and eventually winning the 2014 Monti GrandSlam, David moved to Washington DC for a few years and now lives in Seattle with his fiancé Elena. They spend most of their time hiking around the Pacific Northwest, hosting Shabbat dinners, sending gifts to their nieces and nephews, cooking, and building their new West Coast community. Despite distance, David still watches the latest clips and stories that come out of Durham. So after 6 years away from the Monti stage, David could not be more thrilled to join for the first ever virtual event.
