Raised in the cultural mecca that is central Florida, David VanHook grew up with a keen appreciation for the finer things in life: trailer parks, strip malls, tractor pulls, boiled peanuts, and oranges. Now, with the help of his wife Amy, two children Sofia and Michael, and golden retriever Clio, he considers himself an ex-Floridian well on the road to a complete recovery.
