Chuck Benson
A Simple Lover of a Story
Chuck is an economist by education and a storyteller by necessity. As an awkward kid, stories were a method of connecting that seemed to bridge the social divides and along the way became the platform for his success in work and personal settings. Although he grew up in Illinois and has lived in six different states, North Carolina has been his home for almost twenty years. He is also quick to credit his love of storytelling for the reason he was able to capture the heart of his wife of 27 years. They have two children that are 23 and 21 and are off pursing their own love of stories.
