Christine Wilks was born in Syracuse, NY and escaped the bitter winters of the North to the Triangle area of North Carolina in 1995. She graduated from Meredith College, fell in love, and resolved never to live north of the Mason-Dixon line again. She is a two-time cancer warrior, mother of 2 awesome human beings and 2 felines, and now living happily single in Raleigh. She currently works in local government, and on weekends can be found at estate sales and thrift stores hunting for treasures or visiting historical sites around the state. As a result of her extensive experience with allopathic medicine and practices, Christine is now an advocate for natural medicine and self-healing.
