Briana was born and raised in Chapel Hill and spent her youth mainlining sweet tea, basking in sweet southern breezes and crashing college keg parties. A graduate of Chapel Hill High School (‘99) and the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Journalism (‘03), she spent five years as a photojournalist for newspapers around the southeast before making her way back to the Triangle and marrying her adorable, bearded college sweetheart. She now spends her time taking pictures for Durham Magazine and Chapel Hill Magazine, and hanging out with her one-year-old son, Eli. She loves tacos, the color orange, and the hour after the sun sets. She lives in Durham.
