Brian Clarey has worked in the alternative press for 20 years as a writer and editor. He is owner and editor in chief of Triad City Beat, a weekly covering the cities of the Triad that started in February 2014. He is author of The Anxious Hipster and Other Barflies I’ve Known, spent a decade tending bar in New Orleans and once screened a film he wrote at the Cannes Film Festival. He lives in Greensboro with his wife and three children.
