Storytellers

Blakely is a high school English teacher, a voracious reader, and a self-published author. She loves road trips, dorky puns, and baking. She rarely vacuums. Blakely recently moved from Durham to Boone, where she is enjoying the cooler temperatures and the strong sense of community. Blakely is the winner of six Monti StorySLAMs, a feat which ties the record for most SLAM wins at The Monti. In addition, two of those wins were GrandSLAMs, where she stands alone as the only two-time Monti GrandSLAMpion.
