Avery Cook is a North Carolina native who moved to Durham for graduate school and has been here ever since. A social worker by trade, they have spent years humbly listening to the stories of others and recently decided to see what it may be like to tell their own. In their free time, they can be found outside frolicking in the woods with their dog or quietly reading out on the porch with their cat.
