Alexis Dumain is a writer, researcher, and stand-up comedienne based in Chapel Hill. A senior at UNC, she is currently plying away at degrees in Psychology and Creative Nonfiction Writing, and refuses to choose which one she’ll do “for real.” Alexis identifies as a recovering Catholic, which means that now, she makes all major life decisions using Twitter horoscopes and fills the void by making others laugh. Otherwise, she takes pleasure in ecstatic dance, well-curated playlists, and all things David Sedaris.
